ecoHarmony Festival, 2024

ecoHarmony Fest – Ramadan Edition, a 50-day long festival from 20th February to 9th April 2024, hoped to bring together people from across Singapore’s diverse cultural landscape through a series of meaningful events centered around the spirit of giving and caring for the Earth. Situated at GreenSpace+, an expansive area designated for advancing sustainability projects, the ecoHarmony Festival was organized by Sporteca Private Limited and led by Mr. Malik Aljunied and Ms. Gina Sim from GreenSpace+.

Transcending cultural boundaries, the festival welcomed people from all walks of life, regardless of race or religion. By encompassing Singapore’s rich diversity while fostering unity and shared purpose, the festival aimed to honor traditions, forge new friendships, and celebrate the harmonious blend of values that made Singapore uniquely Singaporean.

Beyond the traditional bazaar setup, ecoHarmony Fest also sought to infuse a strong influence of sustainability, with a showcase of eco-friendly practices and environmental responsibility. Amidst the good food and great vibes, visitors could look forward to thoughtfully curated programs and community outreach activities hosted by local key influential figures and celebrities of various age groups and backgrounds.

In line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030 that aims to achieve a nationwide green target of net-zero emissions, the ecoHarmony Fest served as a platform to realign the mindsets of the community and foster a strong sense of stewardship for the environment, as well as to inspire lifestyle choices that reflect mindfulness for the environment and the greater community at large.
